I’d like to welcome you to my site, but more importantly, I’d like to welcome you to my two West Hartford restaurants - Grants Restaurant and Bar and Restaurant Bricco.

I learned to cook the way millions of people do - by watching.

I learned from my father at the famous Augie’s and Rays as well as from my mother everyday, but especially on Sundays. I learned so much from my uncle Paul at his restaurant, The Eatery and my great-great aunt Josephine who out cooked them all.

At the heart of what I learned from them and the great chefs who helped nurture me along the way was to - use the very best ingredients, be obsessive about freshness and flavor, make it from “scratch” and make it perfect every time.
